Day-to-day responsibilities as a Project Design Engineer will include:
  • Design and develop state-of-the-art high-speed gigabit assemblies
  • Lead product development process & participate in the activities of product development team
  • Manage the product modifications through the complete implementation process
  • Work with Project management teams

This Project Design Engineering position has the following requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering  
  • At least 3 years design experience in electronic high speed cable / connector assemblies
  • At least 1 year in a Project engineering role
  • Design experience with 3-D and 2D
  • Experience with die casts, stamped sheet metal, molded plastics, tooling
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to express complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
  • Analytical ability to apply logical reasoning, test assumptions and make corrections
  • Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control)
  • Experience with finite element modeling and solid modeling.
