State of the art manufacturer has an opportunity to for an experienced Human Resources Generalist at their Corporate Office.  This is very much a high profile position giving you good advancement opportunities with a growing company with a steady pattern of expansions & acquisitions. 
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the day-today HR related tasks & functions such as HRIS, recruiting, training, onboarding, and performance systems management.  As a valuable member of the HR team, you will have contact with every employee at this corporate office.  You’ll develop great relationships with contributing individuals throughout the organization.  Reporting the VP of Human Resources, you’ll be the go-to person & so this is your opportunity to work with a great team and set precedent.
To be considered for this Human Resources Generalist position, you’ll need at least 2 years’ of HR experience in a manufacturing & production plant setting.  To take complete advantage of the opportunities with this expanding company, you’ll a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a business discipline.

At the core of this Human Resources Generalist position, you‘ll be responsible for monitoring the HRIS system, employment needs, employee relations, employment law & compliance, organizational training & development, and upholding the company’s core values.
Your daily activities as the Human Resources Generalist will consist of monitoring the HRIS systems, such as ERP, Self Service, & Alchemy, handling employment needs and interacting with all departments.  You’ll assist with recruiting, onboarding, & continued training.  Develop additions to the employee handbook & other written communique.  Assist with implementation of Performance Management Systems.  Counsel Managers on employee relations issues using the progressive discipline system already in place.  Be mindful & vigilant of employment laws & our compliance with them, such as ADA, FMLA, ERISA, DoL, OSHA, & Worker’s Compensation.  You’ll be key in the development of our organization by contributing to succession planning, employee retention, & change management.  You’ll reach out to employees with one-on-one meetings, surveys, newsletters, and your involvement with EH&S and wellness programs.
