How would you like to go to work for one of the largest manufacturing companies in their industry?  This global manufacturing company has a position for a Project Engineer for their state of the art southern USA facility that specializes in electro-mechanical products.  This well-known outstanding global manufacturer is always looking to improve technology and take it to the next generation.  They are seeking a talented, skilled, & energetic Project Engineer who would develop new products from inception to market as quickly as possible within budget.  Most products will have a global impact.  
As the Project Engineer reporting to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities are:
  • Lead product design processes from cradle to manufacture
  • Works with clients to ensure designs meet specs, UL needs
  • Coordinate developmental & production activities with engineering, purchasing, quality & production groups
  • Use risk reduction tools to help determine materials cost, quality, & functionality of design changes & alterations
  • Ensures manufacturing & sales drawings are accurate & complete
  • Provides technical support to clients, suppliers, sales & other internal customers.     
The salary range is $90,000 - $110,000 PLUS Excellent Benefits & Paid Relocation to this southern facility is located in proximity to stunning mountains & forests with lush greenery and sweet blue lakes.  Unique national parks allow you to boat, fish, hunt, hike, canoe, and relax in the beautiful outdoors on a regular basis.  Picturesque in every season.  Spend time antiquing in charming shops; enjoy the festivals & great dining.  The city has amenities for you and the family – museums, theaters, big malls & little boutiques, parks, & historical sites.
To be considered for this Project Engineer position, you should have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 3 years’ experience in design experience of electromechanical products
  • Skilled at solid modeling for 2D & 3D drawing & models
  • Strong analytical ability to test, observe, & correct assumptions
  • Good communications & personal skills to work with team
  • Some travel can be expected.
