Maintenance (Electrical and Instrumentation) Planner – Pulp and Paper Mill

Major manufacturer in the Paper Industry is looking for a Maintenance Planner for one of their mills.  As Maintenance Planner, you will perform daily planning activities to support the electrical and instrument technician schedules & maintain preventative maintenance program.  Process and manage work order requests.  Assign labor hours and cost of parts used to specific asset.  Generate maintenance reports as required.
Salary $60,000 - $85,000 Plus outstanding benefits, bonus plan, promotional growth opportunity, and paid relocation to the NE USA
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for work preparation: scope, parts, skills, duration
  • Plan work orders based on the priorities provided by the management
  • Work closely with all departments for maximum efficiency
  • Manage kitting of planned parts
  • Ensure accurate data history for analysis and generating performance indicators
  • Support the strategies of maintenance planning, scheduling and execution
  • Ensure work orders are planned, documented and printed, schedules issued based on crew resource availability for every workday
  • Validate completed work orders
  • Develop improved work methods and procedures to continuously shorten production downtime and to increase overall productivity of the workforce.
Minimum Requirements for this Maintenance Planner’s position:
  • Associate degree plus 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
Or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Special consideration for those with previous planning experience.
